PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

I have followed the instructions to try and kill these two horse like creatures, without success.

I am moving the anologue stick and pressing the circle button like the walk through tells you to.

The red marker does not go to the head as I have been doing the dive. I'm SO SO Stuck.

I have wasted hours just on this scene. PLEASE can some one help???? :'(

There is an extra button on that stick you have to press to perform the adrenaline dodge. X3 or I dun recall (but I've read somewhere). Also, the game comes with a manual. Read that first

Also, read your controller's manual to know which button is which...

I also cannot seem to get the red marker onto the Centars head. I have been playing this bit for quite some time now with no success. I dodge all the time but the red marker never leaves the creatures midsection or back. Is this some kind of glitch or something? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Must be a bug, it always center on the head for me.

Dunno if you've managed to do it yet but I had the same problem. When I've tried to do it when Lara is stationary or just running forward/backwards, although I've pressed the correct buttons the dodge did not happen and the sight was still pointing at the centaurs belly.

What you need to do is aim (R1 on PS2) at the centaur and move Lara left/right. (Her arms/guns and face will be facing the Centaur but her body will be going left/right) When the Centaur charges keep pressing the left/right button along with the aim button and at the last minute press the O button (PS2). That way the dodge works properly and the markers will join on its head so you can get a head shot.

Hope that helps 'cause I was stuck on that a long time too and know how irritating it can be!!

I'V GOT A SIMILAR PROBLEM...
i read the walk thro on how to kill the centuars but my grappling hook does not want to attach to the centaur's shield for me to remove it once the centaur is stunned...
i'v had this problem for quite some time now and am really getting tired of the game cos i cannoy progress.
i dont know if there is a patch released for this problem
pls can some1 help

Got to say that killing the centurns seems impossible for me I also never seem to get an aim after dodging their charge been at it for hours now. Spoils the game for me personally, You Tube video wasn't much help because it always manages to get the aim ok.
Shame really because I've bought every Tomb Raider game since they began and this is definatly the hardest!!!!!!!! :-[

I have spent hours trying to kill these two, the adreneline dodge didn't work until...I held down the L1 button......... hold the L1 don't let off of it, shoot until their rage meter is full, then when it shows the slo mo, hit your left analog and O, sure enough the target goes to the head......... it took me less than ten minutes to kill both of themRemember hold the L1 down, don't let off it........... My game apparently is one of the few with this glitch > :'(

Thank god you posted that! Mine must have had a glitch too.
I did what you said and after a few minutes they were both dead and the relief i felt after trying for sooooo long was fantastic.
