(And I am guessing that TRL only has those two, also?)
* To CD, EVERY game that I have played, since 2000, has had ingame Gamma adjustments. *
So I reduced TRA's settings downwards several times until I saw some of Lara's over-brightness begin to lessen in certain places within the Croft Manor.
And then I went back to Windows and set my graphic-card to add more Gamma for a totally different sort of brightness within TRA.
(I finally got TRA's ingame Brightness and Contrast down to 15. And my NVidia's Custom Color Setting at Gamma = 1.31. And now, Lara will look much more distant, when it makes sense. And I'm even seeing some missing texture details, that never seemed to be there, like in water when looking upwards.)
But when I am in something like that deep and dark Cistern, I'll just boost the Brightness and Gamma, just enough, so I won't go BLIND in ALL that DARKNESS.
